Food Allergies

A food allergy is when a person's immune system has an abnormal response to a food or group of foods. If you suspect your child may have a food allergy or if a doctor has already made a diagnosis, you know the uncertainty and fear that many parents feel when their child has a food allergy.

Luckily, the specialists at Tufts Children's Hospital have strong expertise in providing diagnoses and individualized treatment programs for children with food allergies.
